After months of work, we’re thrilled to announce the launch of the new CLEAR Scoliosis Institute website! It’s our hope that this new site will serve as a valuable tool for everyone that has been touched in some way by scoliosis. Whether you’re a newly-diagnosed patient, the parent of a child living with scoliosis or a doctor providing care, we hope to provide resources that’ll answer questions you may have and make life a bit easier.
We’ve done our best to provide a wide range of information. We’ve highlighted a bit of it below, but please take some time to explore our site and let us know what you think in the comments!
If you’re new to the world of scoliosis, the best place to start is with some of our general background content on Learning About Scoliosis, Treating Scoliosis and Living with Scoliosis. Here you’ll find a variety of information that will help to demystify the world of scoliosis.
We’ve also launched a blog (where you are right now) dedicated to publishing regular updates on all sorts of scoliosis-related topics. Here we’ll cover innovative research, new treatment options and other topics related to diagnosing, living with and treating scoliosis.
We know receiving a scoliosis diagnosis can be scary. Just like in many medical situations, people are often left with more questions than answers. But we don’t think that needs to be the case.
To help alleviate this stress, we’ve put together some information covering topics like common treatment options as well as some alternative scoliosis treatments worth considering. You can also find information on different types of scoliosis as well as a glossary of scoliosis-related terminology.
If you’re planning a visit to your doctor, we know it can be tough to figure out where to start. But asking questions is one of the keys when it comes to getting a treatment plan that’s right for you. To help make this a little easier, we’ve prepared a list of questions to ask your doctor as well as some tips on what you can look for in their answers.
Scoliosis doesn’t need to dictate the quality of life you or your loved ones are able to live. By equipping yourself with as much knowledge as possible, you’ll be in a great position to develop a treatment plan that’s right for you.

After complete the clear scoliosis treatment were the curve still progress? or were it become worse after stop the treatment?
This is a very good question, and one we receive quite often! The best answer I can give is this: the degree of results depends upon your degree of participation and commitment.
After you visit the dentist, will you get cavities if you stop brushing your teeth? If you exercise and eat healthy, will you be able to maintain your results if you stop exercising and start eating junk food?
In the same way that good dental hygiene and good nutrition require an ongoing commitment, so does scoliosis care. If someone goes through CLEAR treatment and doesn't follow up with their prescribed home exercise program, it is highly likely that some of the results will be lost. In dedicated patients, however, it is very rare to see this happen, and in fact we often see continued improvement!
