CLEAR Scoliosis Institute announced today the launch of their refreshed brand. While the look may have changed, the reason they started has not.
When Dr. Dennis Woggon founded CLEAR in 2000, he had one primary goal - to help more people living with scoliosis. He knew there was a better way to treat scoliosis and set out to educate chiropractors on a specialized chiropractic treatment protocol that helps 95% of scoliosis patients improve their condition and spinal curvature without surgery.
When it comes to the start of CLEAR Scoliosis Institute, Dr. Dennis Woggon stated,
“The options for scoliosis treatment were very limited; watch and wait, bracing, or surgery. It just seemed to me that there had to be a better way. There had to be a way where the patient was involved on an active basis rather than a passive basis. Working together was the key, as well as taking the best of natural remedies and putting them together with a set of protocols that would reduce and stabilize the scoliosis. Since the start of the CLEAR Scoliosis Protocols, hundreds of scoliosis patients have been able to cancel their scoliosis surgery world-wide. That's a blessing!”
The patients CLEAR Scoliosis Protocols have helped have been old and young, with mild curves and severe, men and women. While scoliosis occurs in both males and females, research shows that idiopathic scoliosis occurs ten times more often in girls than it does in boys over the age of 10.
Dr. Tony Nalda, who has served as the Chairman of CLEAR’s Board of Directors since January 2019, states,
“As the new Chairman of the board and a CLEAR practitioner for over 10 years, I am pleased with the progress that CLEAR has made over the last several years. CLEAR care has positively impacted the lives of thousands of scoliosis patients around the world. The future of CLEAR looks very bright, and the revitalized brand will help us connect with even more scoliosis patients worldwide.”
At the end of the day, the revitalized brand is about connecting better with patients, including giving scholarships. When surveyed, only 5% of those with scoliosis declared that they had opportunities to discuss their feelings with health professionals, while 90% of them declared that they wanted to have more opportunities to do this.
CLEAR’s rebranding includes a complete redesign of the company’s website, logo, graphics, and communications. CLEAR’s new brand assets include a simplified logo, along with a new website and other visual communications with an ultimate goal of creating an emotional connection between the CLEAR brand and patients looking for alternative scoliosis treatment options.
CLEAR Scoliosis Institute
CLEAR Scoliosis Institute is a nonprofit organization for scoliosis patients who are searching for alternative, non-surgical treatment options that provide pain relief and correct posture. CLEAR has developed an innovative and specialized chiropractic treatment protocol that improves scoliosis, reduces chronic pain, and alleviates related health conditions through customized treatment plans that don’t include surgery, drugs, injections, and other invasive medical procedures or equipment.
The CLEAR approach to treating scoliosis involves an exercise-based protocol where patients learn custom-designed exercises they can do in the comfort of their home. After the custom exercise program is developed, patients are monitored in a CLEAR Scoliosis Center. Although research is ongoing, over 95% of patients report positive results after treatment. CLEAR is an acronym standing for Chiropractic Leadership, Educational Advancement, and Research.
